President Bola Tinubu has allocated over N90 billion to support Nigerian tertiary students through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, disclosed this during a visit to Abuja, emphasizing Tinubu's commitment to education and student welfare.

The NELFUND initiative enables students nationwide to pursue higher education without financial constraints, covering not only tuition fees but also student upkeep allowances.
