President Tinubu Attends Aqaba Process Meeting in Rome to Address West Africa's Security Challenges

President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria departed for Rome to attend the Aqaba Process meeting, jointly hosted by Jordan and Italy. The forum, initiated in 2015 by King Abdullah II of Jordan, aims to enhance international cooperation in combating terrorism and violent extremism.

The meeting will address security threats in West Africa, including terrorism, transnational crime, and maritime piracy. Tinubu is expected to engage in strategic discussions, bilateral meetings with world leaders, and strengthen regional partnerships.

Accompanying officials include ministers and senior government representatives.
