Kenneth Okonkwo Claims President Tinubu Is Unwell
Kenneth Okonkwo, the spokesperson for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, asserted that President Bola Tinubu is unwell. Okonkwo made this statement on his đť•Ź handle on Thursday, responding to reports of Tinubu's travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
He questioned the rationale behind Tinubu's trip to Makkah to pray for Nigeria while he is unable to pray for himself. Okonkwo referenced the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, who left a campaign event for a sudden health checkup in Germany, emphasizing that Tinubu's departure from duty is due to his health issues.
He expressed that it is inappropriate for Tinubu to invoke God's name while not being transparent about his health condition. Okonkwo concluded by wishing for Tinubu's healing and urged him to consider stepping aside for the benefit of Nigeria.
