Tinubu Defends Infrastructure Focus Under Renewed Hope Agenda

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu justified his administration's prioritization of infrastructure development as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, stating that infrastructure is the backbone of a modern economy. He urged Nigerians to support the government's infrastructure initiatives during a speech on Friday while commissioning the Collector Road in Mabushi, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Tinubu, represented by Deputy Vice President Kashim Shettima, pledged continued government efforts to build roads, create jobs, and restore citizens' confidence in governance. He noted that the Collector Road would enhance connectivity and ease traffic flow in the FCT, ultimately benefiting economic activities.

Tinubu acknowledged the patience of FCT residents during the construction phase and commended Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his leadership. Wike emphasized the administration's commitment to improving infrastructure across all districts in the FCT, ensuring no community is left behind.
