Tinubu Launches Kuje-Gwagwalada Road for Prosperity

On Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed the commissioning of the Phase 1 Kuje-Gwagwalada dual carriageway in Abuja, emphasizing the government's commitment to laying a foundation for Nigeria's prosperity. He stated that no community would be left behind in the infrastructural development efforts.

The Kuje-Gwagwalada road, described as a "death trap" for years, is expected to improve economic activities and safety for traders, students, and farmers. The project includes a 7km dual carriageway, solar-powered street lights, pedestrian walkways, and proper drainage.

Tinubu urged Nigerians to support the administration's "Renew Hope" agenda, which aims to address socio-economic challenges. He acknowledged the contributions of Federal Capital Territory Minister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and other stakeholders in executing these projects, asserting that the government would continue to prioritize infrastructure development across all communities, including satellite towns.
