President Tinubu Appoints Ogbara-Banjoko to NGX Board

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mr. Ogbara-Banjoko as a director on the board of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), effective immediately.

This appointment replaces Mr. Bamidel Hussein.

The announcement was made on Thursday by presidential spokesperson Mr. Bayo Onanuga.

President Tinubu had previously constituted the NGX board in April of this year, with Dalhatu Abubakar serving as the chairman and other non-executive directors. The president expressed confidence that Mr.

Ogbara-Banjoko's wealth of experience and professionalism will significantly strengthen the operations of the exchange. This move is part of the federal government's broader strategy to deepen commodity trade and enhance market access for farmers and investors, ultimately stimulating economic growth in Nigeria.
