Tinubu to Attend Key Summits in Kenya, Rwanda, France

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to depart Abuja on Saturday, May 2nd, for a visit to Kenya, Rwanda, and France. His first stop will be in France to attend the Africa-France Summit scheduled for May 11th and 12th, co-chaired by President Emmanuel Macron and President William Ruto of Kenya.

The summit will focus on energy transition, green industrialization, digital transformation, restructuring global financial architecture, and climate action. President Tinubu's participation underscores Nigeria's commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships with African nations and France.

The theme of the summit is "Africa Forward: Africa-France Partnership for Innovative Growth," providing a platform for African leaders and their French counterparts to discuss critical issues affecting the continent, including economic transformation and youth empowerment. Following the summit in France, President Tinubu will travel to Kigali, Rwanda, to attend the annual Africa CEO Forum on May 14th and 15th, which will gather around 2,000 leaders from the African private sector to discuss strategies for economic transformation and cross-border investment.
