Tinubu Engages African Leaders on Economic Growth in Kenya

On Tuesday, Bola Tinubu, the President of Nigeria, joined 30 African leaders and global partners at the Africa Forward Summit 2026 held in Nairobi, Kenya. The summit, co-chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and Kenyan President William Ruto, focused on economic transformation, innovative strategies, and sustainable growth across the continent.

Tinubu participated in high-level engagements and plenary sessions, highlighting Nigeria's ongoing economic reforms and the administration's commitment to creating a stable investment-friendly business environment. On the sidelines, he held bilateral engagements with Madagascar's President Colonel Michael Randrianirina, discussing avenues to strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation between Nigeria and Madagascar.

Tinubu reiterated the need for stronger intra-African collaboration and strategic partnerships to accelerate economic growth and expand trade opportunities. Additionally, he met with Patrice Motsepe, President of the Confederation of African Football, to discuss cooperation between the government and the football ecosystem in Nigeria and across Africa.
