Tinubu's Reforms Boost MSMEs, Says VP Shettima

On Saturday, during the 8th National MSME Award in Abuja, Vice President Kashim Shettima highlighted the positive impact of President Bola Tinubu's economic reforms on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Nigeria. Shettima noted that the administration is focused on building a sustainable, enterprise-driven economy that improves livelihoods through targeted infrastructure projects and business support grants.

He emphasized the importance of decentralizing economic opportunities to ensure equitable prosperity among citizens. The Vice President urged award winners to continue their entrepreneurial efforts, assuring them of government support.

He also discussed the launch of a book titled "Build Nigeria: Empower MSMEs," which documents the government's initiatives to support MSME growth. The event recognized various award winners across 13 categories, including agriculture and creative industries, with notable awards presented by organizations such as Zenith Bank and Wema Bank.
