Trump Confirms Iran Nuclear Talks to Begin Monday

U.S. President Donald Trump announced that negotiations with Iran will begin on Monday afternoon, aiming to resolve the ongoing conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical passage for global oil and liquefied natural gas, through which approximately 20% of these resources pass.

Trump, speaking to reporters after returning to Washington, did not disclose the venue or participants of the talks and declined to set a deadline for reaching an agreement. He mentioned that Iran and other Middle Eastern countries had requested additional time to finalize a deal.
