Presidential Aide Slams Slow Progress on Abuja-Lokoja Road Due to Funding Issues

A senior presidential aide from the North Central region has criticized the slow pace of work on the Abuja-Lokoja road project, attributing it to inadequate funding. The project, managed by CGC Nigeria Ltd and handled by Abubakar Yaba, is only 38% complete despite receiving 59 billion naira in certification with 54 billion naira paid.

The aide emphasized the need for the contractor to expedite the project to fulfill promises made to Tinubu. The project's delay has raised concerns about the state of infrastructure development in Nigeria.
