Primate Ayodele Criticizes Tinubu for Pardoning Criminals, Demands Nnamdi Kanu's Release

Primate Ayodele of the Inri Evangel Spiritual Church criticized President Bola Tinubu for granting clemency to criminals, stating it undermines the fight against crime in Nigeria. He demanded the release of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), who has been detained without a sentence.

Ayodele questioned why Kanu remains in detention while convicted criminals are pardoned. He advised Tinubu to dismiss unhelpful advice, particularly on security and economic matters.
