Nigerian Government Signs Concession Agreement for Enugu Airport Modernization

The Federal Government of Nigeria has signed a concession agreement with Aero Alliance to take over the management of Akanu Ibiam International Airport in a bid to modernize aviation infrastructure. The agreement, part of efforts to develop the sector through public-private partnerships, was confirmed by the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.

The agreement, marking the conclusion of a transparent process that began several years ago, ensures that airport workers' rights are protected, with no retrenchment of employees.
