Tinubu Commends Wike for Transforming Abuja's Infrastructure

President Bola Tinubu praised Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), for his successful initiatives in making Abuja a world-class capital. During the inauguration of ten completed residential quarters for Federal High Court judges in Abuja on Wednesday, Tinubu acknowledged Wike's effective delivery on road projects and his commitment to public service.

Vice President Kashim Shettima represented Tinubu at the event, where he reiterated the government's agenda to rebuild trust in institutions and uphold the rule of law. Tinubu expressed gratitude for Wike's leadership and his proactive approach to judicial infrastructure, which includes plans for a dedicated police station and the acquisition of nearby high-rise buildings to ensure security and privacy for the judicial quarters.

Wike defended his actions against criticisms of land grabbing, asserting that they were necessary for public good and real estate development. The project aims to enhance the judicial landscape and is part of a broader strategy to transform Abuja by January 2027.
