Protesters Rally at INEC Office in Abuja for Democracy

On a Wednesday, protesters stormed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Abuja, advocating for the preservation of democracy. Participants were seen wearing "Save Democracy" shirts and carrying red and white placards with various messages.

The atmosphere was energetic, with chants of "no go gree" directed at the INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakubu. Prominent activists, including Aisha Yesufu, Mama Pee, and political leaders such as Peter Obi, Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar, and David Mark, were present at the protest.

The event took place at the Maitama roundabout in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and was characterized by a strong show of support for democratic principles, highlighting the participants' commitment to challenging perceived injustices within the electoral process.
