PRP Denies Kwankwaso's Alleged Nomination Form Purchase

The People's Redemption Party (PRP) addressed allegations regarding former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso purchasing nomination forms to influence the party's political structure. During an interview on Arise TV, PRP Chairman Hakeem Baba Ahmad clarified that the party's nomination forms are strictly managed and distributed from the national headquarters, not sold in Kano.

He stated that claims of 69 forms being sold to Kwankwaso are unfounded, emphasizing that Kwankwaso is not recognized by the party and holds no position within it. Abdulkadir Musa Guza, a member of the PRP Northwest Stakeholders Forum, had accused Kwankwaso of orchestrating a plot to sponsor loyalists and control the political platform ahead of upcoming elections.

Baba Ahmad reiterated that the individuals making these allegations lack legitimacy and do not represent the party's interests.
