PTAD and ICPC Join Forces to Combat Pension Fraud in Nigeria

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to combat pension fraud and enhance transparency in pension administration. The agreement, signed at PTAD headquarters in Abuja, aims to protect the welfare of Nigerian retirees by addressing systemic corruption and fraudulent practices in the pension sector.

ICPC Chairman, Musa Adamu Aliyu, emphasized the significance of the MoU in safeguarding the interests of senior citizens and bringing justice to fraudsters exploiting pensioners. The collaboration between PTAD and ICPC marks a crucial step in the collective fight against corruption in pension administration.
