PTML Customs Seizes N200m Unregistered Drugs, Nears 2024 Revenue in 9 Months

The PTML Customs intercepted unregistered pharmaceutical products worth N200 million, almost matching its 2024 revenue in just nine months. Comptroller Joe Anani led the seizure of two containers containing a variety of drugs falsely declared as supermarket items.

The Nigeria Customs Service and NAFDAC are ensuring national security and trade compliance. PTML Command recorded a revenue surge, collecting N350.3 billion from January to September 2025, representing a 96.6% increase from 2024.

This success is attributed to enhanced compliance, operational efficiency, and collaboration among port stakeholders.
