US officials confirmed that no members of the delegation remained in Islamabad to continue back-channel negotiations. The breakdown of talks has heightened concerns regarding the potential escalation of tensions in the Middle East.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf criticized the American delegation for failing to establish trust during the negotiations, further complicating the diplomatic landscape.
