PZ Cusson Nigeria Plc Reports Strongest Half-Year Profit in Five Years

PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc has recorded its strongest half-year profit in five years, posting a profit of N21.4 billion before tax for the six months ending November 30. The company's revenue rose by 33% to N127.9 billion, attributed to higher product prices and improved sales volumes across its brands.

PZ Cussons also saw a significant increase in foreign exchange gains, reaching N14.8 billion, as well as a boost from asset disposals and rental income. The company's growth trajectory has been positive, with its share price rising by 18% in the past four weeks.
