Qatar Introduces 6-Step Process for Tourist E-Visa Applications

The Qatari government has published a detailed guide on the Hayya digital platform for foreigners applying for a tourist e-visa in 2026. The process consists of six steps: first, applicants must select the "Tourist Visa (A1)" type.

Next, they need to upload necessary documents, including a valid passport and a personal photo, and complete their personal information. After entering their details, applicants must validate the information for accuracy.

The fourth step involves confirming accommodation details for their stay. Following this, applicants complete the payment process.

Finally, upon successful completion of all steps, the approved e-visa is delivered either through the Hayya mobile application or via email. This streamlined process aims to facilitate easier access for tourists visiting Qatar.
