QShelter Launches Wellness Event to Address Housing Issues

QShelter Limited successfully hosted its maiden lifestyle event, "M00ve Experience," in Lagos, which included a mini-marathon, fun races, aerobics, and football matches. The event attracted participants nationwide and was coordinated by Kola Sowand, the chairman of QShelter Limited.

It aimed to raise awareness and foster engagement regarding housing deficits in Nigeria, particularly in Lagos State. The event showcased the 2004 Estate project, which is designed with sustainability and resilience in mind, adhering to environmental standards and mitigating flood risks.

Gbenga Alamu, the Chief Operating Officer of QShelter Limited, emphasized the importance of integrating community needs into the planning process. The marathon segment featured categories for both male and female participants, with Fadekemi Erinl winning the female 22km category.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to redefine modern living and promote long-term value for residents, with plans for annual events to continue growing in scale and impact.
