Doctor for Royal Family Found Dead; Husband Charged

Dr. Hannah Cain, aged 45, who treated Queen Camilla and other members of the British Royal Family, was found dead at her home in Dersingham, Norfolk, on October 4. Emergency services were called around 2:25 a.m., where she was discovered unconscious in an upstairs bedroom.
A post-mortem examination revealed a blunt-force injury to the right side of her head and another injury indicative of neck compression. Her husband, Mark Cain, also 45, has been charged with her murder and appeared in Norwich Magistrates’ Court, where he was not required to enter a plea and remains in custody.
He is expected to appear before King’s Lynn Crown Court. The incident occurred during a sleepover for their three children and their friends, who were present at the time.
Cain’s residence is located less than two miles from the Sandringham Estate, where King Charles III and Queen Camilla have been informed of her death. The motive for the alleged murder has not been disclosed, and Norfolk Police stated that the investigation is in its early stages.
