Nigerian Weightlifters Shine at Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh

Nigerian weightlifter Rafiatu Lawal clinched three gold medals in the women's 58kg weightlifting event at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lawal dominated the competition with impressive lifts, securing a total of 220kg.

Meanwhile, Zainab Adeshina fought her way into the final of the women's 51kg category but was defeated by Algeria's Fatiha Mansouri. The Nigerian delegation, consisting of 46 members, participated in seven sports at the Games.
