Sanusi Defends Ogunbiyi Amid Lagos State Agency Criticism

Mobolaji Sanusi, former Managing Director and CEO of the Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency, responded to criticisms regarding the agency's performance under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration. Sanusi emphasized that Ogunbiyi, the current Director of Public Enlightenment and Community Relations at the Lagos State Ministry of Information, should not be blamed for alleged incompetence.

He pointed out that the agency has faced challenges since its establishment and criticized the leadership changes that have occurred, including the removal of Adedamola Docemo, who was appointed by Sanwo-Olu. Sanusi argued that the agency's leadership should be held accountable for its performance and that the public deserves accurate information rather than political speculation.

He also noted the importance of maintaining integrity within public service and highlighted the ongoing political dynamics within the Lagos State government, particularly regarding the upcoming 2027 governorship elections.
