Real Madrid Signs Marc Cucurella from Chelsea on Six-Year Deal

Real Madrid CF has officially signed Marc Cucurella from Chelsea FC on a six-year contract, which will keep him at the club until June 30, 2032. The transfer fee has not been disclosed.

This move aims to end Real Madrid's two-season trophyless run. Cucurella, who was born in Catalonia and is a former player of Real Madrid's arch-rival Barcelona, has spent four seasons at Chelsea, featuring in 163 matches and winning the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup.

The signing marks the first acquisition for Real Madrid's current coach, José Mourinho. Cucurella is also a representative of the Spanish national team and is expected to participate in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup.
