Mourinho Calls Real Madrid a Work in Progress Before El Clásico

José Mourinho, the manager of Real Madrid, characterized his team as a work in progress ahead of the El Clásico against Barcelona. He stated that the players are still adapting to his methods after a short period of working together, having only trained for about a month and a half due to various interruptions.

Mourinho expressed confidence in his team's ability to win titles, asserting that "Madrid with Mourinho wins titles." He dismissed the notion that the upcoming match would serve as a test of his capacity to secure major trophies. Mourinho noted that recent results would not significantly influence the match, emphasizing that El Clásico is distinct from regular matches.

He also commented on the attention given to Barcelona compared to the criticism faced by Real Madrid, stating that external perceptions would not affect his approach to the game.
