Red Bull Hosts Thrilling Drift Event in Lagos

On a vibrant day in Lagos, Nigeria, Red Bull organized an exhilarating motor sports experience at Tafawa Balewa Square, featuring the 2026 Red Bull Car Park Drift competition. The event was highlighted by the spectacular performances of Lebanese drift athlete Abdo Feghali, who began his racing career in 1998 and has since become a three-time national rally champion and a Guinness World Record holder for the longest drift in Abu Dhabi in 2013.

The event also showcased Nigerian motorsport sensation Jamu Bashar Muhammad, popularly known as Jaybash, who made history as the overall winner of the East Africa Drift Championship held in Kenya late last year. The crowd was treated to thrilling displays of drifting, including a performance where Muhammad's car jumped around a circular track, earning applause from the audience.

The event was further enlivened by Nigerian rapper Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, known as Vector, who joined Feghali as a co-driver during the stunts, adding to the entertainment with music and various drinks available for the attendees.
