Maduka Okoye's Betting Charges Dropped by Italian Court

Maduka Okoye, the Nigerian goalkeeper currently playing for Udinese, has had betting-related charges against him dropped by an Italian court, bringing an end to a month of uncertainty surrounding his involvement in a fraud investigation. The charges had previously led to Okoye's absence from several matches at the start of the Serie A season, where he missed six league matches, including games against Hellas Verona, Inter Milan, Pisa, AC Milan, Sassuolo, and Cagliari.

Despite the charges being dropped, the investigation into the betting scandal remains ongoing. Okoye returned to action in October after being sidelined due to the investigation, which had significantly impacted his participation in the league.
