Remi Tinubu's Visit Boosts Delta State Development Agenda

Denni Otuaro, the chief of the Amnesty Programme, remarked on the significance of Remi Tinubu's visit to Warri Kingdom in Delta State, stating that it complements the development agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Otuaro expressed his congratulations to the First Lady on her visit, emphasizing its importance for the people of Delta State.

He noted that her presence would strengthen ongoing efforts to promote sustainable peace, security, and development in the Niger Delta. Otuaro described Remi Tinubu as embodying national peace and unity, aligning her initiatives with the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

He praised her humanitarian efforts and the "Renew Hope" initiative, which aims to uplift vulnerable Nigerians. Otuaro also mentioned the deployment of 9,000 students to various industries for relevant courses, set to assume office in March 2024.

The Amnesty Programme, established in 2009, focuses on disarming and rehabilitating former militants while fostering peace and development in the oil-rich region.
