Rep. Dasuki Raises Concern Over Alleged Tax Law Alterations in Nigeria's National Assembly

Rep. Abdussamad Dasuki from Kebbi Tambuwal Federal Constituency in Sokoto State expressed serious concerns in the House of Representatives about alleged alterations in gazetted tax laws.

He pointed out discrepancies between the version passed by the National Assembly and the later gazetted version released to the public. Dasuki emphasized the breach of legislative privilege and urged the Speaker to ensure that relevant documents, including the harmonized version, are considered.

Speaker Abba Tajudeen assured necessary actions would be taken.
