Nigerian Troops Rescue 360 Boko Haram Captives in Borno

Nigerian troops operating under the "Operation Hadin Kai" successfully rescued 360 individuals abducted by Boko Haram from Mandara Mountain, a known terrorist enclave in southern Borno State. Deputy spokesperson Philip Agbes commended the Nigerian Armed Forces for their exceptional performance despite financial operational challenges.

He highlighted the significance of this rescue mission as a testament to the military's commitment to combating insurgency and restoring peace across the country. Lawmaker Ado Okpokwu, representing the Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in Benue State, praised Chief of Defence Staff General Olufemi Oluyede for providing strategic leadership that has yielded positive results in military operations.

Agbes noted that the troops deserve greater support for their sacrifices and commitment to national security, especially in the challenging terrain of the northeast. He expressed optimism for improved funding and collaboration among security agencies to strengthen ongoing operations against insurgents and reassure affected communities.
