Military Needs More Funding After Rescue of 360 Abductees

Rep Philip Agbese, representing the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency in Benue State, stated that the Nigerian military requires greater national support and funding to enhance its operations. His comments followed the successful rescue of 360 abductees from the Mandara Mountain area, a notorious stronghold of insurgents in Southern Borno State.

Agbese noted that military personnel face difficult terrain and challenges but continue to demonstrate resilience and professionalism in the fight against terrorism.
