Residents Protest Bandit Killings in Danjanku Tasha, Katsina, Demand Government Action

In Danjanku Tasha, Katsina State, residents staged a protest after a fatal attack by suspected bandits. The community, located in the Malumfashi Local Government Area, expressed anger over the slow response of security agencies to distress calls during the attack.

Gunmen raided the area, killing several residents and abducting others. Despite repeated complaints, the residents live in constant fear as attacks have become frequent.

The protesters called on the Katsina State government and federal authorities to take immediate action to safeguard affected communities. The Katsina State Police Command is yet to issue an official statement on the incident.
