Katsina Residents Protest Worsening Insecurity, Demand Government Action

In Katsina State's Danjanku community, residents, mainly youth and women, protested against the worsening insecurity due to bandit attacks and criminal activities. Despite repeated reports to security agencies, the bandits continue to raid farms and homes, causing injuries and displacements.

Aisha Musa, a local youth leader, highlighted the constant fear and sleepless nights experienced by the community. The residents called on Governor Dikko Umar Radda to enhance security forces' presence to protect rural areas.

Many residents have fled to nearby villages for safety, but the protesters vow to persist in demanding stronger government action against insecurity.
