Arsenal's Rice and Gabriel Train Ahead of Sporting Clash

Arsenal Football Club's players Declan Rice and Gabriel participated in training on Monday ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final match against Sporting Lisbon, scheduled for Tuesday at 20:00 BST. Declan Rice, aged 27, had left the England squad following medical assessments during March's international break and missed Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final loss to Southampton.

Gabriel had to be substituted due to a knee issue sustained during the defeat against Southampton. The club's head coach, Mikel Arteta, is preparing his team to avoid a third consecutive defeat after their recent FA Cup exit and a loss in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Arsenal currently leads the Premier League by nine points over second-placed Manchester City and is pursuing their first league title since the 2003-04 season. Leandro Trossard has returned to training, while Bukayo Saka was not involved in the England camp earlier.
