Arsenal Prepares for UEFA Champions League Clash

Arsenal's Declan Rice and Gabriel participated in training on Monday ahead of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash against Sporting Lisbon. Rice, who is 27 years old, had to leave the England squad following a medical assessment during the March international break and missed Arsenal's FA Cup quarter-final loss to Southampton.

Gabriel also faced challenges, having been forced off due to a knee issue sustained during the defeat on the south coast. The training session took place at the club's London Colney base, with manager Mikel Arteta's side preparing to travel to Lisbon for the first leg of the quarter-final.

Belgian winger Leandro Trossard returned to training, while Bukayo Saka was not involved after leaving the England camp early. Arsenal, currently nine points clear at the top of the Premier League, is looking to avoid a third straight defeat following their FA Cup exit and a loss in the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.
