Adeyanju Petitions ICPC Over ₦283 Billion Spending Allegations in Rivers State

Activist Adeyanju petitioned the ICPC against former naval chief Ibas over alleged mismanagement of ₦283 billion in Rivers State. The petition claims that Rivers State received the funds between March 18 and September 17, 2025, with accusations of lack of transparency in spending.

The petition highlighted concerns over unaccounted allocations and lack of project visibility, particularly in the renovation of the State House Assembly complex. Ibas, appointed by President Bola Tinubu as the Sole Administrator of Rivers State, faces scrutiny over budget reporting and accountability.
