Tinubu Meets Fubara and Wike to Resolve Rivers State Political Crisis

In a bid to resolve the political crisis in Rivers State, former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu met with Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Governor Nyesom Wike. The meeting, which took place at the President's official residence in the State House on Sunday at 11 pm, aimed to address the leadership recognition issues within the state.

This meeting follows recent tensions and the threat of impeachment against Governor Wike. Tinubu reportedly urged Governor Fubara and APC members to recognize Wike as the legitimate governor, emphasizing the need for political stability in the oil-rich state.

This marks the fourth time Tinubu has intervened in the political standoff between the two major political parties in Rivers State.
