Rivers Ex-SSG Invited by Police Over Alleged Plot to Assassinate Minister

The Rivers State Police Command has invited former Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo, for questioning regarding an alleged plot to assassinate the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike. This invitation follows the leak of phone conversations and the subsequent arrest of suspects.

One of the arrested individuals, Tombari Joseph Gbeneol, a Port Harcourt-based pastor, was allegedly discussing the plan to recruit assassins and seek financial support from River State Governor, Sim Fubara. The police are actively investigating the matter to uncover more details.
