Rivers State Government Cracks Down on Child Trafficking and Baby Factories

The Rivers State government is alarmed by the rise in child trafficking cases, particularly involving underage girls in unregulated surrogacy practices and baby factories. Dr. Benibo Anabraba of the Rivers State government, in a meeting with NAPTIP officials, expressed concern and vowed to introduce legislation to combat these illegal activities.

The government is already working on new laws to protect women and children and prevent exploitation of vulnerable groups.
