Police Arrest Notorious Child Trafficking Kingpin in Rivers State

The Rivers State Police have apprehended Bless Jack, a 54-year-old female resident of Port Harcourt, for leading a child trafficking syndicate that exploited vulnerable young mothers to steal and sell newborn babies for financial gain. Jack and three accomplices, including Chinonso Raymond, Chinyer Okori, and Nkechi Nwankwo, were arrested following a significant breakthrough in the investigation.

The syndicate's modus operandi involved manipulating pregnant women with fake scans to obtain babies, with recent incidents revealing transactions of up to two million naira. Preliminary investigations also uncovered Jack's previous imprisonment in Calabar for child trafficking.
