Rivers PDP Rejects Ibadan Convention as Illegal and Null, Citing Violation of Court Orders

The Rivers State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has rejected the results of the national convention held in Ibadan, labeling the exercise as illegal and null. The party's Public Secretary, Kenneth Yowika, criticized the convention for defying two federal high court orders that barred the exercise.

Despite the court rulings, the convention proceeded to elect new national officials and dissolved the state executive. The River State PDP urges its members to remain calm and trust the judicial process to address the situation.
