Ronaldo Becomes First to Score in Six World Cups

Cristiano Ronaldo, playing for Al Nassr, made history by becoming the first player to score in six FIFA World Cups. In a match against DR Congo, he gave Portugal an early lead with a strike near the post just six minutes into the game.

Ronaldo's goal marked his 10th in World Cup history, allowing him to eclipse Eusébio as Portugal's highest goalscorer in World Cup tournaments. The match ended with Portugal winning 3-0, marking the first time Portugal scored three goals in the first half of a World Cup match.

Nuno Mendes contributed with a low free kick, and two additional goals were scored in the second half, including an own goal by Abduvakhid Nematov and a strike from Rafael Leão. Ronaldo had further chances for a hat trick, but his shot was saved.

With this victory, Portugal improved to four points in Group K and will face Colombia in their final group match to secure progress to the knockout round.
