Yellow House Triumphs at Ruthwiphdale Sports Event

The maiden inter-house sports competition at Ruthwiphdale School in Ipaja was a vibrant display of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline, attended by students and staff. The event, held at Command Secondary School, featured four houses: Yellow House, sponsored by Lt.

Col. Mr.

Omoyeni; Blue House, led by Mr. Abodunrin; Green House, represented by Mr.

Abraham; and Purple House, overseen by Mr. Odetola.

The competition included various events such as egg races, 50-meter races, ball pick, big slipper races, and sack races. The atmosphere was further enlivened by musical performances from the Army band.

At the conclusion of the event, Yellow House emerged as the overall winner, with Blue House in second place, Green House third, and Purple House fourth. The event also highlighted the active participation of parents, teachers, and staff, with Lagos State Taekwondo representative and sports ambassador Sabon Hassan Rasheedat noting the involvement of parents and teachers.

Mr. Mobolaji Abubakr Ogunlend, representing the Lagos State Commission for Youth and Social Development, commended the organization and high level of sportsmanship displayed.
