Nigerian Arrested for Drug Peddling in South Africa
A 34-year-old Nigerian suspect is scheduled to appear before the Durban Magistrate’s Court in South Africa for alleged drug peddling. The South African Police Service reported that the suspect was arrested in Montclair after being found in possession of cocaine powder valued at approximately R30,000.
During the operation, he was also found with R5,000 in cash, which he could not adequately account for. Both the cash and the suspected cocaine were seized by the Provincial Firearms and Drugs Unit during the arrest.
