SAHCO PLC Acquires Modern Equipment to Boost Operations

SAHCO PLC, a prominent aviation handling company, has reinforced its commitment to operational excellence by acquiring new ultra-modern ground support equipment (GSE). This acquisition is part of a strategic upgrade to enhance aircraft handling operations across its nationwide network.

The company has taken delivery of a state-of-the-art pushback tractor, manufactured by Goldhof, a respected German ground support equipment producer. The Goldhof F300 model features a robust diesel engine suitable for wide-body aircraft and is constructed from rugged materials to withstand Nigeria's operational terrain.

Additionally, SAHCO has procured five ground power units (GPUs) from Guinault, a renowned global aviation equipment manufacturer. These units have a capacity of 45kVA and provide reliable electrical power to aircraft systems on the ground.

The GPUs are designed for durability and portability, making them ideal for modern airport operations, particularly in high-traffic environments, while also helping to reduce fuel consumption.
