ATSSSAN Commends NAHCO for Commitment to Employee Welfare

The President of the Air Transport Senior Staff Services Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), John Ogb, praised the management of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) for their dedication to employee welfare during a recent visit. He emphasized the need for collaboration between management and labor unions to ensure that operational activities in the aviation sector remain uninterrupted.

Ogb highlighted the impact of the global economic downturn on workers and urged management to increase wages to support staff welfare. He noted that ATSSSAN aims to foster a trusting relationship with local branches and management to prevent disruptions in business operations.

Dr. Peter Olusola Obabori, the Executive Director of Corporate Services at NAHCO, confirmed that management plans to meet with union representatives on April 1st to discuss staff welfare, ensuring fair wages and working conditions.

NAHCO has invested $20 million in equipment to enhance staff safety and productivity, demonstrating their commitment to employee welfare amidst economic challenges.
