Saheed Ibile: Real Estate Mogul Faces Legal Challenges

Saheed Ibile, also known as Mosadoluwa, is the CEO of Harmoni Garden Estate Develop Limited, which has built a significant real estate portfolio valued at $1 billion, focusing on seven major estates in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. His business model emphasizes large-scale land acquisition and the development of premium residential projects.

Ibile has introduced a traditional mortgage system aimed at bridging the homeownership gap for middle-income earners. Despite his success, he has faced serious legal issues; in October 2023, the Lagos State government arraigned him on charges of kidnapping conspiracy and malicious destruction of property.

He frequently encounters public accusations of being a land grabber, which he attributes to a smear campaign by business rivals. Despite these controversies, Ibile has a strong influence in the community and religious leadership, having been honored with the title of Baba Adinni of Osapa London in February 2024 for his philanthropic efforts, including support for widows and youth empowerment schemes.
