Sanwo-Olu Appoints Seven New Permanent Secretaries

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has officially appointed seven new permanent secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen the state's public service and improve policy implementation. This decision was communicated through an official circular sent to relevant government officials, including the deputy governor, speaker of the House of Assembly, and chief judge.

The new appointees are Dr. Babajide Olumuyiwa Martin, Engr.

Adetunji Adeyemi Adesanya, Mr. Bukonla Olusola Durodola, Oluwatoyin Olubunmi Oladeji, Mr.

Tiwalad Adeyinka Sorungb, Architect Bolanle Monica Olukareh, and Dr. Adenik Oluwafunmilayo Oluwo.

They have previously held director-level positions across various ministries and agencies within the state and will assume their new roles at grade level 17. The appointments will take effect on April 24, 2026, with further details regarding their specific posts to be announced later.
